Product Description

Hot Melt Repair Stick is a specialized adhesive accessory designed for pipeline coating repair. It offers strong adhesion to polyethylene, hot-melt adhesives, and repair patches, effectively filling surface defects and restoring the integrity of damaged anti-corrosion coatings. The product complies with GB/T 23257-2017 technical standard. Each stick is 30cm in length, convenient for field application.

System Composition

The repair stick is designed to be used together with repair patch for complete pipeline coating repair.

  • Hot Melt Repair Stick (JY-307): Melt into deep gouges or cavities to build up a smooth surface.
  • Repair Patch (JY-306): Applied over the filled area to provide a durable, sealed repair.

Installation Guide & Precautions

Installation Method

  1. Clean the damaged area: Remove dirt, moisture, and loose debris.
  2. Preheat: Heat the damaged area to 60°C-70°C.
  3. Melt the stick: Heat the repair stick until it softens and melts.
  4. Fill the damage: Apply the melted material into the gouge or cavity, building up slightly above the surrounding coating.
  5. Level the surface: Smooth the filled area with a heated tool or torch.
  6. Apply repair patch: For best results, cover the repaired area with a repair patch.

Key Reminders

  • Do not overheat — excessive heat may damage the surrounding coating.
  • Use in well-ventilated areas.
  • Store in a dry, cool place below 35°C, away from direct sunlight.
